china and registry woes

So, picking dinnerware for our registry has been difficult. Joe and I decided to get a nice "everyday" set and skip the whole "fine china" bit. After a lot of searching, we found one we really liked which, of course, has since been discontinued.

So, now we're trying to decide if we want to go with the 1 pattern they left in the set, or pick all new. Part of the appeal of the set was that there were essentially 3 "patterns" in one. I like the "mix and match" idea.

Who knew registries were such a pain, items are discontinued, back-ordered, on sale, not on sale...and keeping track of it all is so time consuming!
